visitors

Visitors are allowed while you are camping with us but please let them know that there is a per person visiting fee.

Many visitors are not campers themselves and would not anticipate this. Explain that this fee gives your visitor full use of all facilities while here in the campground.

Day visitors may check in at the Store between 9AM and 8PM and are welcome to stay until 9PM.

FAQ's

Most frequent questions and answers

There is a fire ring and picnic table on every site.  Depending upon your selection hookups, cable, water, electricity, or sewer connections may be included.

We offer a 2 Person Rate and a Family Rate. The maximum number of adults per site is 4.

Family Rates are for one Family Unit. A family unit includes a couple and their dependent children (under 18) only. Additional adults (up to 2) and children may stay within your camping unit for the overnight visitor fee.

If the additional people wish to put a tent or camper on the same campsite you have reserved they will be charged at the family camping rate fee for that campsite.

Definitely, every effort will be made to accommodate site requests, but if it is not available, you may have to choose another site.

Yes, campfires are permitted. Carried in firewood needs to comply with NYS DEC regulations. Yes.  When in the campground, practice safe riding and be courteous of others…and remember, no riding after dark!  Also, New York State Law requires helmets be worn by all riders age 14 and under.

Sure, the more the merrier but there are a few things you might want to consider first. First of all, our site fee is designed for one family in one camping unit, so if another family were to join you on your site and would not be staying inside your camping unit (meaning they would stay in a separate tent, trailer, pop-up, etc.) they would be required to pay a separate site fee. They probably would prefer their own site, since there would be no cost advantage to sharing yours. While we’re on the subject of extra tents on a site, one additional tent for the registered camper’s immediate family may be set up for no extra charge. Immediate family consists of unmarried, dependent children under 18 living with their parents.

Free WiFi can be found at the camp store area. Pay per use Wi-Fi provided by an outside company may be available at your campsite however, we do not guarantee service in all areas.

This provider does allow a free 15 minute sign on per day.

For those traveling with a satellite dish, please keep in mind that we have many trees here in the mountains, so satellite service may be limited.

Our sites vary in size but most can accommodate the largest manufactured coaches and RVs.  We offer sites equipped with cable, water, electric (20/30/50 amp), and/or sewer.

We are part of the Long Path Hiking Trail.  The segment that runs through our campground leaves the campground at site 615 and is 2.2 miles to Mine Kill Falls.

Yes! The strongest signal will be with Verizon Wireless. Other providers may work but we are told “hit or miss” by our guests.

Absolutely, our guests enjoy swimming, fishing, or floating in tubes on the creek.  Jumping into the water from rocks, ledges, or cliffs is prohibited.
