Thank you for your interest in seasonal camping at Nickerson Park Campground.

We feel our value is among the best in the New York City-Albany-Catskill region. The 2008 rate for a standard full hook-up site is $1,565 ($1,535 if paid by April 1), plus metered electric cost. Winter storage is free. Dependent children under 21 are free. Pets are free. Many of our guests enjoy the opportunity to place a deck and shed on their site. Pets are welcomed and may be walked throughout the premises.

Bingo, children’s craft time, and wagon rides occur every weekend. Themed weekends, bands, and DJ entertainment are also scheduled. The property borders the Schoharie Creek which offers fishing, swimming, floating, and hours of fun for the kids. Trout, bass, and perch are the most common catches. The swimming pool is available as well. Biking and hiking are popular. The 400 mile Long Path Trail system goes through our property. It is 2.2 miles from campsite 615 to MineKill State Park waterfalls.

What do you need to do now? Come on out and take a look and see why over 200 other families enjoyed seasonal camping here in 2007. We require a non-refundable $200 deposit to hold a site. The 2008 season will run from May 1 to Oct 13. Although you do not have to maintain a 12 year or newer trailer, we do require our new seasonals to begin with one.
